The Dunham Woods Riding Club, which is also in Wayne, was founded in 1934 by a group of residents from Wayne and Geneva. A hunt takes place every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from August to December. During that time there are many social gatherings for the horsy crowd. After the hunt on Sundays, there is a stirrup cup in the backyard of someone's home or estate. Snacks, port, cheeses, sweets are all served to the riders which are still on their horses while the spectators do the serving. ![]() The Estate of Cookie Cohen ![]() Tim Harris and Cookie Cohen

The puppy hounds are giving their names for the next year's hunting season. This takes place before dinner is served, and then the riders who have earned their colors are presented with them. ![]() DuPage Hunt Riders ![]() Irena Kaiser Joyce Selander Irene Michaels Lynn McMahan Lyna Silverman ![]() Our Hound |
