Virtual Luxury & La Perla

Spread the love

Virtual is the new normal and almost every brand is working to bring their customers the best of digital experiences. So it came as no surprise when La Perla announced its very special virtual luxury launch.

The Italian luxury innerwear brand celebrates its 25th anniversary this year in style. The company announced its plan to mark this milestone with the launch of two capsule collections. They are the Maison Rainbow and Maison Metallic.

La Perla created the virtual experience rightly called Villa La Perla to unveil the collections and give an inside view of the loved brand. It involved an initial welcome video by the brand’s creative director Alessandra Bertuzzi and on to an exploration of the Maison archive, a good look at the craftsmanship behind the collections, and the discovery of a new campaign. For such a well-developed digital experience, it is impressive to know that this is the brand’s first attempt at a virtual launch and tour. Villa La Perla was presented on September 6th, 2020.

Given La Perla’s history, it’s not strange to anticipate exciting pieces for the new collections. The Maison Rainbow collection consists of slip dresses, short robes, silk camisoles, and French knickers in rose and pale mint shades with multicolored embroidered tulle. Maison Rainbow was made available online since the start of September.

According to Alessandra Bertuzzi, the creative director, “The inspiration comes from the desire to bring a touch of cheerfulness and glamour to our iconic collection. The rainbow is a timely reminder of the current times. This collection serves as a representation of our resilience, uniting us in a message of hope,”

While the Maison Metallic will fully launch in November 2020, the collection features refreshing shades of gold, platinum, and bronze threads.

“What makes Maison unique is its timeless femininity. Although we are celebrating its 25th anniversary, the collection remains inspiringly current,” says Bertuzzi.

“Our customers recognize and value the precious materials and unrivaled Bolognese craftsmanship. Elegant and versatile, Maison can be worn in a multitude of ways, from day to night. A Maison garment imbues the wearer with confidence and draws attention and admiration wherever it goes.”
