  • The Ravello Cathedral

Ravello Cathedral is also called the Duomo. It sits humbly in the town’s main square. The Duomo was founded in 1086, an extremely long time ago, but still retains its majestic nature. At the entrance of the cathedral are two bronze doors created in 1179. The doorspicture 54 scenes of Christ’s life on earth. Other sights await you within the cathedral, as well as, a two-roommuseum with rare pieces of history.

  • Villa Rufolo

A royal home and a lavish estate are what can best describe the Villa Rufolo. The villa was built in the 13thcentury by the powerful Rufolo family. It is located in the town’s main square and has remarkable features. The 30 metres tower of the villa Rufolo once served as a watch tower for spotting pirate ships that arrived at the coast.

It was built by a wealthy merchant family in the 13th century and in its prime, it was one of the largest and most expensive villas on the Amalfi Coast.

  • Villa Cimbrone
Villa Cimbrone is located on cliff Cimbronium. It is an exotic garden on large grounds also featuring small temples, bronze and stone statues, gazebos and much more. It is a serene place where all tourists goto enjoy the magnificent sights.

Ravello is a small town so it is possible to enjoy your luxurious vacation onfoot. A stroll around the town will get you to any of the historic locations. Don’t forget to take in the beautiful flowers and cobblestone streets. Also, go shopping for local items, ceramics, and art. You can also enjoy a cool afternoon in the famous Infinity pool that is said to create a unique feeling of floating between the sea and sky.
