Jenny McCarthy Hosts “Summer Splash” at Howells & Hood

A festive crowd gathered inside and outside of an exciting, new restaurant Howells & Hood at 435 N. Michigan Ave. for “Summer Splash,” an entertaining indoor/outdoor summer patio party hosted by Sun-Times Splash columnist Jenny McCarthy.

Refreshing Smirnoff Sorbet cocktails were served to this amiable summer crowd, along with some very tempting hors d’oeuvres direct from culinary executive chef Paul Katz and Scott Walton of Howells & Hood.  Hillshire Farms provided mouth watering sausages, while Paul and Scott provided the rest, including flat bread (pizza) and other culinary delights.

The atmosphere was energetic as a D.J. filled the air with upbeat music and Jenny McCarthy accommodated guests with a meet and greet, taking the time to have her picture taken and engage in light conversation.  Also seen circulating through the crowd was accomplished editor Susanna Negovan, making sure this privileged crowd was well taken care of.

Kudos to Jenny and Susanna for a terrific party at the right location with an innovative indoor/outdoor setting.

Well done !
