  • Fairway Restaurant

You can find diners everywhere, but a good ole breakfast can prove difficult. Thankfully, the locals at East Hampton have always had Fairway Restaurant. This restaurant is a top breakfast spot popular among visitors and locals. Hence, it was quite disturbing when the fate of the Fairway Restaurant was seemingly sealed on account of a lease. This shutdown took place in 2010. Apparently, during that time, the terms of the lease given by the Poxabogue’s manager were restrictive for this breakfast business, but that didn’t change the consequences of losing the lease. The restaurant was shut down amidst tears and pleas from locals. It had served them for over 20 years.  It took a good amount of resilience from the townfolk to eventually win the battle and see their unique breakfast spot reopened in a bigger and better way.

At the Fairway Restaurant, you can have breakfast all day. It serves as a café located on Montauk Highway in Sagaponack at the Poxabogue Golf center. The spot is open all week, providing breakfast and lunch both outdoors and indoors. Enjoy a complete menu of bacon and eggs, pancakes, home fries, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and much more. The restaurant focuses on giving guests their dream meals in a simple atmosphere.
