During my most recent business trip to Saint-Tropez, I was honored to be part of Leonardo DiCaprio’s annual gala and celebrity auction at the Domaine Bertaud Belieu vineyard. The event helped raise funds for the DiCaprio Foundation which researches solutions to restore balance to our earth’s ecosystems. Despite the countless meetings and networking events revolving around the gala and benefit, it was a welcome relief to know that my itinerary included a stay at the luxurious Althoff Hotel Villa Belrose where stars like Lana Del Rey and John Legend are known to stay

The Althoff Hotel Villa Belrose, which is inspired by a Florentine Villa, is situated on one of the hills of Gassin on the Côte d’Azur, surrounded by lush garden landscapes. It is only a few minutes away from the center of Saint-Tropez and offers spectacular views of the picturesque harbor. The rooms and suites at the Althoff Hotel Villa Belrose are represented in a modern take of the Saint-Tropez spirit and charm of the 50s and 60s, as demonstrated in a charming black and white photos taken by Schlessselman.

In this case, Robert Van Straaten, the general manager of this exceptional establishment, went above and beyond my expectations. His warm and elegant manners, along with his attention to detail, made my stay extra special.
