Celebrating the start of the new year in cinematic style, the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival took place from Jan. 1st-11th. In its 27th year, the prestigious festival in the desert resort, has featured more than 180 films from over 70 countries, an Awards Gala that has lately become a highly anticipated prelude to the Oscars, as well as the appearance of Hollywood’s finest, including Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, and Matt Damon.
