Naomi Heaton, who is the CEO of The Portfolio Club, has revealed that this brand will be called The Other House.

Come Spring of 2022, Naomi Heaton’s residents’ club brand will launch a new lifestyle brand that will “blur the lines to create a cutting-edge type of new accommodation.”

If you’ve been wondering about what the next best thing will be in the hospitality industry, it might be this.

The brand already describes itself as ‘your home for as long as you are in town’ on its website. Heaton has explained that The Other House is here to disrupt the traditional sectors of hotels, serviced apartments, and private rentals. By changing the way the hospitality sector has always done things. The Other House will effortlessly and elegantly combine the comforts of a real home with the luxury and appeal of hotel-style facilities, regardless of how long a guest stays.

It will serve travelers or guests who are keen on style and memorable experiences with their accommodation.

By spring 2022, the hotel will first launch in South Kensington. Then, in 2023, the Covent Garden neighborhood will welcome the brand’s second hotel.

The Other House

The interior design for The Other House has been appointed to Bergman Interiors, the interior design studio which won Interior Designer of the Year at The Brit List Awards. Bergman Interiors will bring the club’s vision to life for both the South Kensington and Covent Garden properties while working alongside award-winning architects, Falconer Chester Hall.

As far as details for the layout go, each club is expected to offer around 200 ‘club flats’ with a gorgeously designed living area, sleeping area, and kitchen. Other areas include striking private spaces, bars, and spas with fitness studios. Instead of regular conference facilities, this second home will offer private dining rooms, bookable meeting rooms, and screening rooms. The hotel will sport a continually evolving seasonal menu.

In the wake of COVID-19 combined with the luxurious elegance the hotel will provide, guests will enjoy on-demand services and limited touchpoints via the club’s custom tech platform and app.

The seamless technology includes features like automatic check-in, fingertip access to services, keyless room entry, remote room controls, and booking and ordering all at any of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and other amenities.

Heaton’s words from a press release said, “The Other House caters to consumers looking for flexibility, style, and greater personalization and who embrace responsibility and slow travel,”

“Our mission is to create spaces that enhance the overall guest experience and completely reinvent how people stay, providing a renewed sense of space, place, ownership, and engagement. The concept paves the way for a new era of smart travelers.”

She added that “Now, more than ever, we need to embrace the travel revolution we see ahead of us – we look forward to opening our doors in 2022 and welcoming this new chapter of hospitality.”
