Highlights of this festive occasion included an impressive silent auction, a popular digital photobooth, lively DJ Matt Roan entertaining the enthusiastic crowd, and celebrity bartender appearances by former Chicago Bear Jerry Azumah, pro wrestler Lisa Marie Varon, and Irene Michaels of IOnTheScene.com, among others. Accommodated guests were served an endless supply of summer camp favorites including hot dogs, grilled cheese, and s’ mores, while spiked Bug Juice was the sparkling cocktail of the night.

According to the talented event chair and camp counselor Rachel Drescher, “Campfire Ball is a time to rally to send more kids with pediatric cancer to camp. At Campfire Ball, the guests are able to see the important work that Children’s Oncology Services does all year long for children with cancer, and how it changes their lives.” Congratulations to Rachel and all of the unselfish volunteers who helped make this a wonderful fundraiser. Kudos to Stephanie Krol of SKPR Media for coordinating this remarkable event!
