The Peninsula New York

Spread the love

Inside the hustle and bustle of New York City lies an oasis that may be all too familiar for travelers seeking a luxury hotel stay. This oasis is, in fact, the Peninsula, the chain hotel. Unlike the reputation of other chain hotels, the Peninsula offers a wonderful experience at each of their ten locations worldwide, and New York City is no exception. Since 1928, the hotel company has established a reputation to give their client a comfortable stay with great service. There are hotels in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Beijing, New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, Bangkok, Manila, Paris, and the London location is in the works.

In the New York location, there are 239 rooms and suites available, all designed for comfort. They are all apartment-style rooms to give the customer enough room to feel at home. The room comes complete with comfortable bed linens, marble bathrooms, and complimentary high-speed Internet. So, no matter the purpose of your stay, whether it be a pleasure trip to the Big Apple or a business trip, a room at the Peninsula will accommodate to your needs. The hotel is also pet-friendly. If you call in advance, a bowl, blanket, and treats from Thomas Keller’s Bouchon bakery can be provided for your dog. Also, if you need pet-sitting or walking services, that can be provided for as well.

Located at 700 5th Avenue at 55th Street in Manhattan, the Peninsula has a great location making it accessible to some of the biggest sites in Manhattan. It’s nearby Central Park, Times Square, MoMA, and the Guggenheim. Not to mention it’s just 15 miles from JFK International Airport and 10 miles from LaGuardia, making traveling easy. There is always public transportation available: taxis and the nearest Subway station is 2 blocks away at 5th Avenue and 53rd Street. The hotel’s chauffeur-driven Mini Cooper cars are complimentary for up to three hours for guests staying in a suite.

The hotel also offers a restaurant, Clement restaurant, in which 70 % of the produce is from local farms. There’s also a spa and fitness area and a beauty salon offering hair and makeup services.

The Peninsula New York is an experience worth staying at. After all, it is “Fifth Avenue’s Most Glamorous Address.”
