SilverSea’s Service
SilverSeas Ships– SilverSea currently has a fleet of nine ships, with a new ship to be delivered soon. Their ships are smaller than the typical cruise ships many are used to seeing, with up to 300 suites per ship
Exceptional Service– Each ship maintains a staff to passenger ratio of 1:1, with each suite having it’s own private butler. The crew is available to the passengers 24 hours a day for the length of the journey to assist them with any needs during their travel. Crew comes from around the world making life aboard a cultural experience.
Gourmet Cuisine– the gourmet cuisine on SilverSea is one of the most highly talked about features! From Asian inspired dishes to French cuisine to the mouth-watering dishes of the Italian heritage that is SilverSea, there is something for everyone’s taste buds when they come aboard. The chefs will tantalize you with their creativity and help you explore your inner foodie.
Spas and Fitness– to complement the world class accommodations and food, a world class spa and fitness center await you on board. The Journey
The cruise we undertook was from Barcelona to Monte Carlo. This was an eight-day journey on the Silver Muse, the newest ship in the SilverSea fleet. Our starting port was in Barcelona and from there wetraveledd to Marseille, Corsica, Livorno, Portovenere, Saint Tropez and finally ending in Monte Carlo.
Having a mid-voyage adventure in Corsica allowed for some extra time off the ship, breaking up the time spent at sea while still enjoying the luxury of the cruise ship. The concierge was invaluable in helping to plan shore excursions for each port and assist with arranging what was needed to make the best use of our time in each location.
SilverSea also has an amazing Air and Hotel Program to assist with making travel arrangements for pre and post-cruise, helping get you to your destination and find a hotel to settle into for the days leading up to your cruise or the days post-cruise, to make the best of your vacation. This is an extension of their already amazing service and goes that one step beyond making sure your vacation is enjoyable from the moment you leave your front door!
